The Pledge

I thought I would test out an on-line translator (http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr). What follows is the American Pledge of Allegiance–translated from English to Italian and then back to English. Enjoy.
“Engagement the allegiance to the small flag of the joined one I declare of the America and to the Republic to which it corresponds, one nation under the God, indivisible, with the freedom and the justice for all.”
I seem to recall having to recite the pledge (ha ha, no, not this particular version) in grade school years ago.
